Essex Business Awards 2006
Last night it was the Essex Business Awards for 2006 and my company was nominated for the award in innovation! It was a fun night and even though we didn’t win:( We had a good time. The judges didn’t understand what we do was the concensus, that and we’ll win next year! Well after all that it was time to party! Iain seemed to enjoy the evening too…

Features page!
After some hacking around in the php I’ve finally managed to put together a kind of features page that will stop me filling up the site with tabs! It still needs some work but at least it’s functional. Let me know if you see any bugs or want anything more.

Hammond, Ouch…
Well aparently he’s been ’stable’ overnight according to the bbc. He managed to crash at around 300mph! That’s a hell of an impact… I wonder if they’ll show the footage at any point? Perhaps if he make a full recovery…
Richard Hammond has made a name for himself presenting a lot of shows and he’s always been quite charming. Strangely I think I’d feel more if he doesn’t make it than I did about Steve Irwin who was much more famous… Let’s hope he makes a full recovery.

Histpop
Vicky is after a professional critique of the histpop website that she’s doing some of the archiving work for (Correct me if I’m wrong and that’s not what you do!). The website is still a beta version and is due to be fully operational by Feb but who knows…
Personally I think not enough colour! Why that pale green… No real images always makes for a dull site, there should be more links around the site - as Vicky says the logo doesn’t even link to the homepage. And, and… dashed line borders
