Another Week
As I’ve been increasingly pre-occupied by a variety of other projects at the moment my blog seems to have lost impetous and the visitors. I hope that you all come back when I finally get back to writing on here properly.
Last weekend was cool with the GP and Spamalot and this weekend was interesting with a rather rubbish play and a rather strange feeling journey around the thames estuary. I’m not sure what is in store for us this coming weekend apart from Norwich on the Sunday night, hopefuly a rest as we’ve been frying around at the moment.
The GP
Well no incidents really apart from Coultard trying to decapitate Wurz but that means we can really compare the teams as there’s no fall back. I thought that Hamilton proved he’s going to be a sensation this year, Alonso showed that he has indeed taken over from MS and that Massa has what it takes to pick up those points when he has problems now, I’m not sure that it proved Kimi - we know that he can win like that, can he win like MS/Alonso can though - on an off day.
As for all of the others BMW put in an impressive performance as did Super Aguri - I won’t say anything about Honda. We’ll see what the season holds but it’s all setup for a good one!
Errors - I know that there’s some errors on the site at the moment - I will get around to fixing them, I promise!

First blood
So Alonso wins the lottery of a rainy first practice but Ferrari look rather compelling in the second session…
Note that Hamilton was third behind the Ferraris…

F1 Preview
I’ve been trying for ages to get a preview together like James and Andi and I’ve just finished it. There’s no images mainly because I don’t have the time at the moment to go and find them!
The preview is on the articles page - go have a look

A wet weekend in Wales
The last few weeks have been pretty hectic with all the things that I have agreed to do hence the lack of blogging and general contact with everything. Hopefully this period of time is starting to wane and I’ll be back to my over blogging self.
This weekend however was a welcome break from my computer, Charlotte and me embarked on a weekend away to Wales for her Mum’s 60th birthday. We drove upto Reading on the Friday night which is about the half way mark to Monmouth and stayed in the Travellodge on the M4, it was suprisingly quiet considering but it did have the most complicated shower in the world!
As we were only in Wales for a couple of days, not even that really, all we seemed to do was eat - bad news for our fitness regime! We ended up having a Harvester, a Curry and a Sunday Lunch, not bad for a weekend (That does include friday night).
We did see some strange things over the weekend with several people on our way home staring into the sky on Saturday night… It was only when we got back to the travellodge did we find out that there was a lunar eclipse, here it is as seen by my camera phone - impressive.

It was great to get away even though the weather wasn’t the best for the journey home, so I paid some of DC’s wages for a caffine hit at Reading (the other side of the M4).
I’m also looking forward to the 17th when we’ll be seeing Spamalot and the first GP of the season! Look out for my season preview coming up soon…
