Change of style…
Ok I changed the theme, and then I have hacked at the code to get it to look like this. Any comments? And yes I have done some work today Charlotte! I quite like the look although I’m not 100% sure about a few things yet so there are still more changes in the pipeline!
The site should also be much quicker now. It is for me anyway. Once I’m sure that this is all working I’ll set to work on transferring Charlies blog across - that shouldn’t be as much effort as this one because it’s all just standard code.

You should be able to enable mod-write links (permalinks) - looks a bit better, and easier to work with.
For example, instead of
http://www.robstacey.com/?m=200610
it could be
http://www.robstacey.com/october2006/
type thing

When i read one of your articles, I get little white lines appear before my eyes for a few mins after!!!! ouch!

Yeah the text is quite bright in comparison to the background - I was thinking of makiing it a little darker…
I’m still not 100% sure about the white on black, I might still go back to the black on white…
If anything I’d make the background a little lighter. Making the text darker wouldn’t be such a good idea.
Back to white, got fed up with the dark colours…
I might also correct some of the hard links!
